MegaEIS™
ME-42L200x50

High-Current Load & EIS Workstation

The MegaEIS™ ME-42L200x50 is the sweet-spot workstation with an internal power load from the Kolibrik MegaEIS Product Family, developed specifically for fuel cell stack testing and analysis.

With 42 fully synchronized measuring channels, it’s ideal for parallel testing of small to mid-size stacks — capturing real-time insights into cell uniformity, degradation mechanisms, and efficiency under industrial-scale loads. Capable of delivering up to 200 A, the ME-42L200x50 ensures high-precision execution of the majority of demanding fuel cell testing scenarios.

See Unboxing, introduction to features, and practical live measurement demonstration of MegaEIS System.

Key Features

  • Designed for fuel cell stack research
  • Stack current up to 200 A
  • Stack voltage up to 50 V
  • Inner dissipated power of MegaEIS up to 4 kW
  • EIS measurement one cell gradually or all cells simultaneously
  • High precision current sensing of both DC and AC components

Deployment Scenarios

  • Water Management & Flooding Diagnostics: Monitor specific impedance shifts in real time. True parallel EIS across 42 channels simultaneously pinpoints localized membrane drying or cathode flooding before they trigger irreversible cell reversal.

  • Dynamic Drive Cycle Simulation: Replicate heavy-duty automotive load profiles natively. Sink up to 200 A to evaluate transient stack responses and individual cell voltage stability during rapid power demand fluctuations.

  • Accelerated Degradation Testing: Isolate weak cells within mid-size stacks. Continuous parallel data acquisition allows for precise tracking of catalyst degradation and fuel starvation effects over extended high-current operational cycles without missing fast transient events.
